BRIAN A. DUUS
Brian A. Duus graduated from the University of Hawaii School of
Law in 2004.
Mr. Duus has litigated in both state and federal court and has state
and federal jury trial experience as both lead and second-chair
counsel. He also regularly handles administrative matters. His areas
of practice include construction litigation, commercial litigation,
education law including special education, civil rights, personal
injury, and employment law. He also handles appellate matters.
Before joining Stubbs & Leone, Mr. Duus worked as a solo
practitioner. In that capacity, he managed a variety of cases
including complex civil litigation and criminal defense. Prior to
attending law school, Mr. Duus worked as an intermediary and high
school English teacher and continues to volunteer in local schools.
Mr. Duus is a member of the State Bars of Hawaii and California, and
is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for
Hawaii and the Northern and Eastern Districts of California and the
United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
