PATRICIA PARKER

Patricia J. Parker is an associate at Stubbs & Leone where she practices in all areas of civil litigation. A Chicago native, she relocated in the mid-70’s to Southern California where she earned a B.A. in Psychology/Psychobiology from the University of California at Riverside.  She earned a J.D. from the McGeorge School of Law (University of the Pacific) in 1991, with high honors and Order of the Coif designation.

 After law school, Ms. Parker served as an extern to the Honorable Magistrate Joan Brennan (Ret.) of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.  Thereafter, Ms. Parker worked as a Research Attorney (Annual) on the Criminal Central Staff of the California Supreme Court analyzing the merits of petitions for review.

 Ms. Parker has accumulated valuable pre-trial, trial and appellate experience. After her tenure at the California Supreme Court, Ms. Parker offered her services on a contract basis in the areas of appellate law, public entity law, and bankruptcy. 

From 1999 to 2004, Ms. Parker served as a Legal Research Attorney for the Alameda County Superior Court, where she reviewed pre-trial law and motion matters, and assisted with complex trials and writs.  For two years, Ms. Parker supervised the legal research attorney staff on all Civil Law and Motion matters heard at the Hayward Hall of Justice.   During that time, Ms. Parker become well-versed in the areas of employment, governmental immunity, contract and tort, and acquired special expertise in the California Environmental Quality Act and Proposition 65 arena.

Ms. Parker is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association.
